On June 1, 2010 our two year old, "Little Air Bear," was diagnosed with Childhood Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) Type M7. After enduring 146 days at Primary Children's Hospital, Erin is now in remission and living a full life at home with our family. Her strong will and constant happy smile is an inspiration to us all. Through our difficult circumstances we found great strength and peace in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for checking in on us.

Round two, Day 3

Another day of chemo almost done! Only 5 more. Erin hardly seems fazed about it all. She is enjoying watching movies all day. Today we watched Cinderella 3, you should all watch it. It was so riveting. Tonight she played for almost an hour using her doctor set on her baby. It's amazing what her baby is able to withstand, scissors to the head, scalpel to the back, a few doses of air through a syringe, blood pressure cuff, and stickers all over her stomach to name a few of the techniques Erin uses. I'm sure that by December she'll be a pretty well trained doctor.

  2. So Jill, I would like to know if Cinderella 3 is so riveting that you have watched if over and over? And was there any sarcasm in that comment? Did you know you guys are amazing??? I know there are many difficult times, but you continue to bear your testimony and show us that you are so close to our Savior. Thank you for sharing your testimony, and your delightful sense of humor Jill. We are thinking about you and praying for you. Also, Kristel Larsen talked to us about saving pop-tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. The tabs are pure aluminum and they turn them in for money to help the RM House. So, I know Kristel said there was information on-line and others may also want to participate in that. We are going to start collecting them for you as a primary. I can get the website from Kristel if you need it. Maybe you already have it! We love you and we are praying for you! Thanks again for your wonderful outlook on life! We are uplifted by talking to you! Love Joan and Anna

  3. You are so funny. My two year old daughter has never seen any of the Cinderella movies. Maybe she would sit through it if yours can.

I am so glad she can play doctor on her baby. What a healthy wonderful thing to be able to be on the giving end of medical treatments! Much love.
