I am finally finished with a video I made that sums up Erin's cancer story.
Making this video was emotional for me as I looked back to what our family went through. But, at the same time, it was also very soothing to my soul as I see the strength we received to overcome.
I am forever grateful for the whisperings of the spirit in May 2010 that told me that something was very wrong with Erin's little body. These promptings led me to have Erin's blood tested. She is such a strong little girl and she has overcome more than any two year ever should. And, all through it, she kept a beautiful radiant smile on her face.
Loved your vidoe!! Aubree was born the same day that Erin was diagnosed! Thanks for the support and comments!

ReplyDeleteOkay, so I loved the video you made! (But you made us all cry!) We have come to know & love Erin and your family! We miss you and really do hope we can get together soon. Erin is an amazingly strong little girl. She has two of the best parents I know. Here's hoping she and Rachel stay cancer free forever!

that was a great video, Jill. and i totally cried watching it. :) i really enjoyed seeing those baby pictures of erin's -what a happy girl she looked like even from the start!
ReplyDeleteit's amazing what you guys have gone through over the last year. i loved what you said in the video about how cancer changes everything about your life - it is so true. i was thinking about that just the other day - how we will be forever different because of our cancer journey. it's just not compartmentalized, you know? it doesn't seem to me like it's something where you think, "ok we're done with it. now that is over" and you move on and forget about it. it will always affect you - i think we're all forever changed.
anyways.. :)
the video was beautiful! i'm so glad you took the time to put it together - what a wonderful way to document things.
What an amazing, powerful and beautiful video. I am in tears. That little Erin has gone through so much and has been SO SO strong! She is absolutely amazing and I know she learned it from her wonderful parents. Im so glad you have reached the end of her treatments, although there will never be an end to the worry and pain you feel for her and others going through it. I think you are so brave for sharing this video and I love that you included the good and bad times. Sometimes its the hard pictures or videos that raise the most awareness of what these kids are going through. Thank you Jill! I think of you guys often. XOXOXO
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful video Jill. I hope the journey just goes up from here. What a sweet, strong little girl you were blessed with.
