On June 1, 2010 our two year old, "Little Air Bear," was diagnosed with Childhood Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) Type M7. After enduring 146 days at Primary Children's Hospital, Erin is now in remission and living a full life at home with our family. Her strong will and constant happy smile is an inspiration to us all. Through our difficult circumstances we found great strength and peace in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for checking in on us.

Playing Nurse

Erin giving her dolly a dressing change
She is doing the same things on her dolly that the nurses do on her to change the dressing on her central line.

  1. isn't that wonderful that she's got a doll to play with to help her process everything that is happening to her? i think it's absolutely brilliant and glad that adults are looking out for the emotional well being and not just physical well being of kids going through stuff like this now. when i was a kid stuff like this wasn't as present. happy christmas season hughes family. i'm praying that erin's numbers come up as soon as possible so that y'all can get home!
