On June 1, 2010 our two year old, "Little Air Bear," was diagnosed with Childhood Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) Type M7. After enduring 146 days at Primary Children's Hospital, Erin is now in remission and living a full life at home with our family. Her strong will and constant happy smile is an inspiration to us all. Through our difficult circumstances we found great strength and peace in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for checking in on us.

I Will Quit Worrying

Erin's ANC (fighter immune system) is still at zero.  I have decided that I am going to quit worrying about when her ANC will start to come up.  I am going to focus on other things, like how much fun we are having together being stuck in this little hospital room.  Right now, Erin is standing on a chair up to the sink.  She is filling a needle less syringe up and drinking out of it.  She loves to play in the water.  We will probably be getting out her big purple ball in a little while and chase it around the room.  We did this for 30 minutes yesterday.  She has so much energy, I just cannot believe she is so wired and hyper even with all her blood counts sitting near zero.  She is wearing her princess tutu and her ballerina shirt.  She says that she is Angelina Ballerina. Below is a video of her water adventures.  It's not all that exciting, especially her wave at the end.  But, it's just a bit of live footage to spice up your day.

  1. Just like Eliza - if there is nothing else she can possibly drink out of in the bathroom she uses the plug! Gross!!!
