On June 1, 2010 our two year old, "Little Air Bear," was diagnosed with Childhood Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) Type M7. After enduring 146 days at Primary Children's Hospital, Erin is now in remission and living a full life at home with our family. Her strong will and constant happy smile is an inspiration to us all. Through our difficult circumstances we found great strength and peace in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Thank you for checking in on us.

Where Does The Money Go?

Until Erin had cancer I hadn't given much thought as to where the money goes.....

American Cancer Society, Relay-For-Life 2010
1% goes to childhood cancer research

Leukemia and Lymphoma Society 2009
2% goes to childhood cancer research

CureSearch 2010
95% goes to childhood cancer research
BUT if you donate through our CURESEARCH WALK
100% of donations go to childhood cancer research!

  1. Oh Jill! Thanks for the updated graphs!!!! This is something VERY important to me -> how much $ from the ACS and Relay go to childhood cancer. I do not like it. Neither does Erin's Mom. She's a part of an amazing network of parents and other good people who are raising money for research for childhood cancers. Erin's ma - the amazing Vickie (Erin = the amazing Erin) - raises money for neuroblastoma research, as that's what took dear Amazing and blessed Erin. She's another person you may want to connect with. She's terribly wise, and has a lot of energy. She is also one of the most kindest people I've ever met. She's one of those gifts cancer has given me.

Btw. I talked to JaNiel about your move today. She's not happy with it! She's even less happy with me. It looks like I'm moving to Jordan (the country, not the city in Utah!). I am engaged to a wonderful man named Hassn who lives outside of Amman. JaNiel is not happy about this. *sigh* S.k.y.p.e.

God be with you and your family as you prepare for the new chapter in your lives. I'm happy for you, sad for JaNiel, but happy for y'all.
